Wizenews is a simple news reader. You can Sign In and import your Google Reader feeds and then you can participate in a more public manner to those news by voting them up & down and commenting on them, right from Wizenews!
Without signing in, you can see our public space where trending news and topics can be browsed by anyone.

A lot of gems (Devise, omniauth, greader maybe or another, feedzirra, sidekiq and much more). We will use Rails (latest stable), deploy on the full stack + some additions (redis at least). We will also use Twitter Bootstrap as we are no designers but will use a free theme. This is pretty much it at a high level.
Oh, we have a mock made with Google Doc Drawing that we did during our first and only planning session, over Google Hangout (we're remote).
