Description
Date Night!
Ever have trouble finding new and fun things to do for a night out on the town? Date Night will help you find that by showing you all sorts of cool stuff in a certain area.
Want to see whats close to your girlfriend's house? Want to know what kind of stuff there is to do in the city? Want to see what bars are around the restaurant youre going to? On vacation and just want to find cool things near your hotel?
Plan your entire evening by choosing a central location and finding all the cool stuff around there!
There are filters for categories, price range, distance from your search location, etc. If you add a restaurant who uses OpenTable, make a reservation for dinner right from the app!
Eventually users will be able to log in to save their date plans, and people can view other date plans and give them a thumbs up, which will lead to a sort of directory of "Best Date Night plans" for an area.
*Note: Most of this functionality is obviously going to be post-Rumble. But for someone like me who has a hard time deciding what to do, something that is proximity-related to a central location showing interesting things around there could be very useful. The plan is to provide added value on top of services like Yelp to make the site more than just a shell regurgitating the same data.
